Mitchell Plastics is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for the Night Shift at our Kitchener facility. The role ensures the production floor runs smoothly in a fast-paced, just-in-time manufacturing environment, coordinating with Operators, Cell Leaders, Supervisors, and Set-Up Technicians.

The successful candidate will handle material supply, forklift operation, and housekeeping to support timely customer deadlines. Flexibility for alternate shifts and overtime is required.

Responsabilidades

• Supply production equipment with materials.
• Provide components and packaging to Machine Operators.
• Maintain cleanliness of the plant floor.
• Empty and clean grinders.
• Transport finished products to staging areas.
• Anticipate and prevent non-conformance in processes and quality systems.
• Operate a forklift as needed.

Job Details:

Wage: $24.80 - $27.34 per hour plus $0.50 shift premium per hour

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Location 100 Washburn Drive, Kitchener, Ontario (on-site)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday; 3pm – 11pm

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler for the NightShift at our Mitchell Plastics Kitchener facility. In this pivotal role, you will keep our production floor running smoothly, ensuring we hit critical customer deadlines in a fast-paced, "just-in-time" manufacturing environment. Success in this position relies heavily on strong collaboration with Machine Operators, Cell Leaders, Supervisors, and Set-Up Technicians. While this is an Afternoon Shift position, candidates must be flexible to work alternative shifts and overtime as business needs dictate.

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Keeping all production equipment supplied with materials
• Keeping Machine Operators supplied with components and packaging
• Maintaining cleanliness of the plant floor
• Emptying and cleaning grinders
• Transporting finished product to the appropriate staging area
• Anticipating and preparing for all actions that prevent the occurrence of product, process and quality system non-conformance
• You will be required to operate a forklift.
