This role entails providing specialized care for patients recovering from anesthesia, conducting assessments, and working closely with an interdisciplinary team. Candidates must have a nursing degree, active registration with the region's nursing college, and relevant clinical experience. Qualificações

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
• One year recent relevant clinical nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assess post anaesthetic patients by gathering and evaluating information.
• Provide nursing care based on physicians' orders and initiate immediate treatment as required.
• Document assessments, nursing diagnosis, observations, and interventions.

Conhecimentos

Clinical proficiency in the designated clinical area

Proficiency in initiating and maintaining Intravenous Therapy

Effective communication with patients and families

Ability to recognize acuity changes

Ability to organize and prioritize work

Formação académica
