Job summary

Shared Health - Seven Oaks Health & Social Services is seeking a dedicated clinical support role in Winnipeg to work in-person, supporting adults with mental health needs. The successful candidate will have two years of experience with this population and will engage in community education and support services as part of a collaborative care team.

Educational requirements include university/college education in human services or related training; vaccination of duties is emphasized with safety

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Experience

• Two years work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental health illness.
• Experience in provision of education and support in the community to individuals who struggle with mental health issues.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• University or College education in human services, other disciplines, or high school diploma and related training.

• Demonstrated skills and competence to establish supportive, trusting relationships.
• Skills in assessing, planning, development and coordination of support services.

Physical Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
• Subject to a criminal record check and abuse registry checks.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
