Job summary

Mondelēz International in Ontario is seeking a manufacturing operator to independently operate and maintain equipment following autonomous and progressive maintenance standards. The role focuses on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale targets within a large snack manufacturing environment.

You will be trained to execute standard work, monitor equipment performance and report losses while collaborating with a diverse team on site.

How You Will Contribute

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

• Operating machines with coaching
• Safety and quality standards for operating machines
• Reading and writing, and fluently conversant in the language of communication as appropriate to the site

Salary and Benefits

The expected annualized salary range for this position is $42,848.00 to $60,330.00 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 5% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results, and potential shift premiums and / or overtime.
