Job summary

GFR Pharma Ltd. in Coquitlam, BC, is hiring a Packaging Operator for the graveyard shift to join our Production team. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring product quality, following GMP, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a dusty powder environment.

You will report non-conformances, operate equipment safely, and support other production tasks as needed. Fluency in English is required; prior manufacturing experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.
• Stand for long periods during shifts and follow safety rules.
• Work in a dusty powder environment with PPE provided.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality by ensuring products meet Work Order specs.
• Report non-conformances to Lead Hand or Supervisor promptly.
• Keep area tidy and safe for smooth production runs.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and correctly.
• Co-operate with coworkers and maintain a positive attitude.
• Follow GMP and safety procedures.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.

With the continued growth of our business, we are seeking to hire a “Packaging Operator” to join our Production team on the graveyard shift.

The position requires a person that (but not limited to):

• Demonstrates attention to detail, ensuring quality product meets Work Order specifications.
• Reports any non-conformances immediately to the Lead Hand or Supervisor.
• Maintains a tidy/clean area for safe passage through assigned area during runs.
• Ensures equipment is operating safely and properly.
• Co-operates with co-workers and demonstrates a positive attitude.
• Follows GMP and safety procedures.
• Assist in other areas of Production when required.

NOTE: This position works with dusty powders; respirators and masks are provided for your safety.

Requirements:

• Able to lift, up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to follow safety procedures.
• Able to work within a powder environment (PPE provided).
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment considered an asset.

Shift: Monday to Friday - 10:00pm to 6:15am

Rate: $18.82 per hour plus $1.50 per hour graveyard shift premium.
