Job summary

PNP Pharmaceuticals in Burnaby, BC seeks a hands-on operator for blending, grinding, and sifting tasks in a full-time role. You will dispense materials, maintain equipment cleanliness, and support process improvements while ensuring safety and quality.

English fluency, ability to lift 25 kg, and a willingness to learn are required. Work shifts are AM or PM, Monday to Friday, with on-site duties and compliance with GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic mathematics (adding/subtracting).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to GMP procedures.
• Able to operate or learn pharmaceutical equipment.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Shift:

There are two shifts currently available:

• AM - 06:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday.
• PM - 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary:

• Operate blending, grinding and sifting equipment with guidance from Dispensing/Blending Room lead.
• Dispense raw materials as per Manufacturing Batch Record.
• Clean of equipment and room.

Additional:

• Report equipment malfunctions.
• Other related duties as specified by supervisor.
• Immediately report product quality deficiencies to supervisor.
• Offer suggestions for process improvement when identified.

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

• Fluent in verbal and written English.

Asset:

• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Skills:

• Proficient in the basics of mathematics (adding and subtracting).
• Willingness to learn.
• Able to use tools proficiently.

Asset:

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operation, including V-blender, ribbon blender, sifter, grinder, weigh scales an asset.

Abilities:

• Lift a minimum of 25kg.

• Must be in good health with no communicable disease or dust allergies.
