Coldstream Clear Distillery Limited is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our fast-paced production team in Truro, Nova Scotia. You will oversee the Variety Pack and Canning Line, manage automated packaging equipment and robotic systems, and own your assigned area to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or machine operation experience is an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn and operate automated machinery and robotic systems.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to identify and report equipment, quality, and safety concerns.
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple positions on the Production lines.
• Experience with Lean methodology is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Meet established production, quality, safety, and efficiency expectations.
• Complete production paperwork, electronic records, quality checks, and downtime reports.
• Maintain accurate counts of finished product, rejects, damaged packaging, and rework.
• Monitor production performance and communicate significant variances.
• Follow production schedules and communicate issues that may affect production.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures whenever required.
• Wear all required PPE.
