Job summary

Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries, Inc. is seeking a Technician II to maintain component and bulk product supply to packaging lines, perform setup and changeovers, and ensure compliant operation of filler and packaging equipment in a cGMP environment.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with the maintenance team to optimize line performance. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in manufacturing/packaging, with

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment.
Experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Experience with packaging changeover and set-up is required.
Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical setup, calibration, and adjustment of automated filling systems during product changeovers.
Replace and maintain mechanical components including O-rings, valves, pumps, and nozzle assemblies.
Conduct mechanical troubleshooting related to container closure and packaging stations.
Change embossing/coding block characters on labels and cartons as per PWO.
Set-up and change parts for secondary packaging equipment based on change parts and parameters.
