Job summary

UPS in Caledon, Ontario is hiring a Part-Time Package Handler to join a fast-paced warehouse team. You will load and unload packages, sort by postal codes, and learn UPS handling methods; shifts typically run 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM start and end times around 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, with 25 hours per week.

Position Summary:

The Package Handler’s position is a physical fast-paced and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting/stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers.

Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent

Work Location: 12424 Dixie Road Caledon ON

Workdays: Sunday to Thursday

Shift Start Time: 12:00 PM - 1:30PM

Shift End Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30PM

*Shift averages 3-5 hours a day, start times / finish times may vary with operational need. Flexibility required.

Pay rate: $18.15

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) without assistance
• Full availability to work Sunday to Thursday (all five days of the week)
• Must be able to work 25 hours per week legally
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
• Warehouse experience - Preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay rate of $18.15
• Automatic pay rate progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate: $30.11/hr. after 48 months)
