Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions in Calgary, AB seeks a package handler to load, unload, and sort packages in a fast-paced environment. You may operate heavy machinery and perform related tasks as needed.

Shift patterns run Sunday to Thursday with start times between 12pm and 2pm; hours per day vary (3–5 hours, may be more) based on volume. Safe lifting and warehouse experience are preferred.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

COMPENSATION AND BENIFITS:

• Hourly Wages: $18.00/hourly

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Warehouse experience - Preferred
• Shifts are Sunday to Thursday
• Shift Start Time anywhere between 12pm-2pm
• Shift End Time will vary based on volumes; you will need to be available up to 7pm.
• Hours per day are not guaranteed and will vary based on volumes (3-5 hours of work per day, sometimes more)
