You will lead fire alarm system design, fire and life safety engineering, and code compliance across diverse projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• P.Eng. designation required.
• 5+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of OBC, OFC, NBCC, NFPA, ULC.
• Experience designing fire alarm systems for various buildings.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and review fire alarm systems in accordance with codes and standards.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, reports and design docs.
• Apply OBC, OFC, NBCC, NFPA, and ULC requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations and system evaluations.
• Conduct site investigations and commissioning support.
• Review contractor drawings and RFIs.
• Provide technical guidance through design, permitting, construction, and close-out.
