Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Associate – Fire Protection Engineer to lead projects in Toronto and grow the fire protection practice. Relocation to Toronto is encouraged with potential support.

You'll take on ownership, client responsibility, and business development while mentoring junior staff and shaping technical standards. A long-term path toward principal leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of fire protection consulting/design experience.
• Strong experience with building fire protection systems and life safety.
• Experience delivering complex building projects across commercial, healthcare, institutional, or mixed-use sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection engineering and design projects from concept through completion.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to fire protection engineers and designers.
• Develop fire protection strategies for complex projects and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Lead and oversee fire protection system design, calculations, reports, specifications, and documentation.
