Job summary

Air Liquide IT SA is hiring a P&D Driver in Anjou to safely pick up and deliver goods. You will load/unload, inspect vehicles, verify documents, and communicate with customers and warehouse staff.

Qualified candidates have a Class 3 license, 2+ years of courier experience, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and fluency in French; English is a plus. Flexible hours and a professional demeanor are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license (or equivalent) with an excellent driving record.
• At least two (2) years of experience driving commercial vehicles for pickup and delivery.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lb) and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Good knowledge of local geography and delivery routes.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety.
• Fluency in French (spoken and written); English is a plus.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely and professionally.
• Load and unload goods using the appropriate equipment and following safety procedures.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working order and report any issues.
• Verify delivery manifests, purchase orders, and other documents to ensure the accuracy of shipments.
• Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff, and customer service.
• Maintain an accurate logbook of hours worked, trips taken, and vehicle maintenance.
• Comply with all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure the safety of transported goods and prevent loss or damage.
• Represent Air Liquide IT SA professionally to customers and the public.
