Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• At least two years of experience driving commercial vehicles for pickup and delivery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Good knowledge of local geography and delivery routes.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, verbal and written.
• Fluency in French; English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely and professionally.
• Load and unload goods using proper equipment and procedures.
• Inspect the vehicle before/after trips and report issues.
• Verify delivery manifests and documents for shipment accuracy.
• Communicate with customers, warehouse staff, and customer service.
• Maintain an accurate logbook of hours, trips, and maintenance.
• Comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure safety of transported goods and prevent loss/damage.
• Represent Air Liquide IT SA professionally to customers and the public.

Job Description:

The P&D (Pick-up and Delivery) driver is responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of goods for Air Liquide IT SA, in compliance with deadlines and traffic regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely and professionally.
• Load and unload goods using the appropriate equipment and following safety procedures.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working order and report any issues.
• Verify delivery manifests, purchase orders, and other documents to ensure the accuracy of shipments.
• Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff, and customer service.
• Maintain an accurate logbook of hours worked, trips taken, and vehicle maintenance.
• Comply with all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure the safety of transported goods and prevent loss or damage.
• Represent Air Liquide IT SA professionally to customers and the public.
