Job summary

ARAG Legal Solutions Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the day-to-day delivery of the compliance program for a federally and provincially licensed P&C insurer.

You will lead governance, risk assessments, and OSFI readiness, collaborating with the Director and business units to embed regulatory requirements across underwriting, claims, sales, HR and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/degree in related field and 5–7 years P&C compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSFI guidelines and supervisory interactions.
• Expertise in privacy laws and third-party risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate regulatory expectations into business actions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, rolling out and implementing a compliance management framework for a new P&C insurer.
• Maintain policies, standards, procedures, and internal controls.
• Contribute to compliance risk assessments, annual plans, and testing plans.
• Prepare compliance reporting for senior management and the board.
• Strengthen documentation, evidence collection, and audit readiness.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting P&C insurers and implement requirements.
