Job summary

Pearl Recruitment represents an established oil and gas producer in Calgary seeking a Project Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to support small to medium pipeline and facility projects. You will participate from initial definition through commissioning, working closely with operations, field teams, consultants, and vendors.

The successful candidate will exercise sound technical judgment, manage design deliverables, and help drive cost, schedule, safety, operability, and quality objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 4–8 years of oil and gas engineering and/or project experience.
• P.Eng. registration with APEGA or eligibility is preferred.
• Pipeline and/or facility project experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Engineer on small to medium pipeline and facility projects from concept through completion.
• Develop scopes, feasibilities, cost estimates, schedules and execution plans.
• Coordinate with operations, field teams and consultants to define requirements.
• Review drawings, datasheets and deliverables for constructability and compliance.
• Support design activities including tie-ins, piping, equipment and utilities.
• Maintain project documentation, quotes, vendor reviews and technical inquiries.
• Provide project reporting on progress, costs, risks, and actions.
• Engage in design reviews, HAZOPs, pre-startup activities, commissioning and closeout.
