Job summary

Horseshoe Resort is seeking an Overnight Snowmaking Technician to ensure timely snow production for guests, with shift hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You will operate and maintain snowmaking equipment and support safety and efficiency on the slope.

We value individuals who are 18+, capable of working outdoors in all weather, have a valid driver’s license, and can handle flexible shifts during the ski season.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to meet the demands of the coming ski season.

Responsibilities

• Complete all snowmaking operations and other tasks as assigned.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain snowmaking equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance and welding as required.
• Install and maintain protective padding around snowmaking hydrants, lift towers, etc.
• Operate snowmobiles with care and caution at all times.
• Communicate and work alongside other snow makers and snow plant operators.
