Fresh Prep is hiring for an overnight sanitation position in Calgary. You will perform hands-on cleaning of production areas and equipment, operating industrial cleaners safely and following SOPs to ensure food safety and GMP compliance.

Hands-On:You enjoy physical, hands-on work and are comfortable working with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and food-production equipment.

Perform hands-on cleaning and sanitation of production areas and food-processing equipment.
Use industrial cleaning equipment, foam, water, and approved cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
Follow established sanitation procedures, schedules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Deep clean production equipment, floors, tables, utensils, and other food-contact and non-food-contact surfaces.
Clean and sanitize areas including Hot Kitchen, RTE, Zero Waste, Prep, and other production areas as assigned.
Wash and sanitize production bins, baskets, trays, and other reusable equipment.
Complete sanitation tasks thoroughly and within required timelines.
Follow GMP, food safety, chemical handling, and PPE requirements at all times.
Identify and report sanitation, maintenance, or food-safety concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
Work closely with the overnight sanitation team to ensure the facility is ready for production.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the shift.
Other duties as assigned
Previous hands-on experience in industrial, commercial, facility, janitorial, sanitation, food production, restaurant, warehouse, or similar environments is an asset.
Experience using commercial or industrial cleaning equipment is an asset.
Food-production or sanitation experience is preferred.
Ability to work overnight shifts.
Ability to stand and perform physical work for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (11.3 kg).
Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following chemical-safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
Good attendance and a reliable work ethic.
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
Hourly wage of $22.37
Work schedule of Friday to Monday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
