Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Overnight Remodel Associate in Edmonton to work with the Overnight Remodel Manager to set standards in newly renovated departments. You will unload/load fixtures, build counters, and merchandise new sections while ensuring items are secured and properly displayed.

The role involves handling high-ticket merchandise, following cold chain guidelines, and possibly working in construction areas with required steel-toed boots and a hard hat.

Responsibilities

• Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL and DSM where required.
• Stocks multiple departments (General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, Fresh).
• Follows cold chain guidelines to ensure quality.
• Aids shrink prevention by scanning damaged and stolen merchandise promptly.
• Builds counters using kit sheets per print provided by the Lead Specialist.
• Moves counters using the appropriate equipment.
• Merchandises endcaps, action alley, and side counters per standards.
• May work in construction areas; steel-toed boots and hard hat required.
• Loads/unloads fixtures onto trucks.

Position Summary...

An overnight remodel associate works with the Overnight Remodel Manager to establish standards in newly renovated departments. They complete modulars, ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, maintains clearance zone, unloads and loads fixtures onto trucks, builds counters according to the print, and merchandises newly set departments.

What You'll Do...

• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
• Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
• Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments
• Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
• Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
• Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
• Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
• May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.15.
