Job summary

Extendicare St. Catharines is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide direct care to residents at night. The role offers mentorship, growth opportunities and a meaningful caregiving experience in a Canadian long-term care setting.

You will support residents with mobility, personal care, and participation in activities, while maintaining compassionate, respectful, and professional conduct throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• PSW certification is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching and lifting.
• Strong compassion, professionalism and respect in resident care.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with mobility, feeding, bathing, toileting and grooming.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and programs.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents and families.
