AgeCare West Williams in Kitchener, ON is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a temporary part-time role. You will provide resident care according to care plans, monitor needs, document information, and participate in ongoing education and onboarding of new staff.

The successful candidate will uphold IPAC standards, understand sanitation basics, and meet PSW program requirements. This is a community-based position centered on dignified elder care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate/diploma required.
• Must meet vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Must meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC).
• Must meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association (OCSA).
• Knowledge of bedside care procedures and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' care to ensure alignment with the plan of care.
• Document care information as directed.
• Attend in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
