Job summary

Carfair Composites in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Production Supervisor for the overnight shift (Sun–Thu, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM). Lead daily manufacturing operations, manage schedules, ensure quality, and uphold safety. Lean improvements help keep the plant running efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 8+ years of supervisory or related manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards and safety.
• Experience managing schedules and daily operations.
• Lean, continuous improvement or process optimization experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure parts are made on time and meet quality standards.
• Plan labour needs based on schedules, sales orders, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor workforce attendance, punctuality, and productivity.
• Maintain strong employee relations, motivation, and team performance.
• Ensure ISO quality standards and procedures are followed; support CAPARs.
• Apply Lean principles to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Schedule and monitor routine equipment and plant maintenance.
• Track labour hours, material usage, and production performance.
• Assist with planning, budgeting, and cost information.
