Job summary

Home Care Assistance is seeking an RPN to support a pediatric client in Innisfil, Ontario. The overnight shift runs every other Sunday 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM Monday, with awake overnight care and high complex needs.

The role requires pediatric tracheostomy care experience and proficiency with medical technology and equipment. We offer competitive pay of $35/hour, 4% vacation pay, EAP access, group benefits after 3 months, employee discounts, and a commitment to health and safety with WSIB coverage.

Qualifications

• CNO registration in good standing
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months
• Experience with pediatric g-tube, ventilator, and trach is an asset
• Must have a current license and reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and reassessment
• Utilize medical technology and equipment such as:g-tube, ventilator, and trach
• Provide medication support and administration
• Complete reports and document and care notes regularly
• Communicate with family and supervisors about any changes in client care
• Meet the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times
• All other duties, as assigned
