Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Receptionist who embodies hospitality excellence. You will be the first and last impression for guests, orchestrating seamless arrivals, departures, and guest interactions across a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate brings 1–2 years Front Desk experience in luxury hospitality, fluent English, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs. OPERA PMS knowledge is a plus, with a supportive team and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Front Desk/Guest Service experience in a luxury hotel.
• OPERA PMS experience is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in hospitality or related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage arrivals and departures to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
• Handle front desk inquiries and requests with courtesy and efficiency.
• Maintain accuracy in registration, payments, and guest information while adhering to hotel policies.

About the role:

The Overnight Front Desk Receptionist is a central part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility. The Front Office is also the natural place where guests direct comments, questions, suggests and concerns.

What you will bring:

We are looking for candidates who have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Good problem solving ability and proficiency in Hotel property management systems. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is also required. The Front Desk Receptionist position requires continuous standing for the majority of the shift and ability to lift at least 25lbs. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task.

Additional preferred qualifications & skills:

• 1-2 years previous Front Desk/Guest Service experience in a fast paced, luxury Hotel operation
• Previous experience with OPERA PMSis an asset
• Additional languages a definite asset for career growth
• Completion of Post Secondary Education in Hospitality or related field

Started rate of pay of $23.59 per hour and full rate of pay of $26.21 per hour. This position is eligible for upsell incentives and additional $1 per hour for overnight premium.

Schedule & Hours:

Successful candidates possess open availability and the ability to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnights.
