Job summary

Element by Westin Calgary Downtown is seeking a reliable Night Auditor to oversee overnight front desk operations and ensure accurate nightly financials. You will balance transactions, prepare reports, assist guests, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance while upholding Marriott brand standards and delivering warm, professional service.

The role requires independent work, strong attention to detail, and a positive team attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Night Audit or front desk, guest services, or customer service is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, reports, and financial transactions.
• Able to work independently during overnight hours and make sound decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and hotel management/POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome late-arriving guests with a warm, genuine, and professional demeanor.
• Process guest arrivals and departures accurately, including reservations, billing, and payments.
• Respond to overnight guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Balance and reconcile daily hotel transactions, including room charges and payments.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial, operational, and occupancy reports.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments for overnight needs.
• Maintain accurate records, cash handling procedures and documentation.
• Ensure safety, security, and a welcoming environment throughout the night.
• Assist with light administrative tasks and support fellow associates.
