Job summary

The Home Depot in Canada is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead and motivate associates, ensure store readiness, and drive excellent customer service. You will partner with store management to plan daily tasks, manage inventory, and support training and development while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years of supervisory experience, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to helping customers find the right solutions for their projects.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as a supervisor / leading teams.
• Flexible schedule availability, including overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store readiness, organize aisles and manage inventory.
• Manage minor resets and cross merchandising and ensure planogram adherence.
• Work with Operations Assistant Manager to develop and prioritize duties for associates.
• Unload and inspect merchandise; assist with packdown as needed.
• Ensure product receipts are entered into the store system accurately.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet business needs.
• Provide ongoing feedback and recognition to associates to improve performance.
• Communicate and uphold Safety and Asset Protection standards.

What you will be doing:

• Ensuring store readiness, organizing aisles and overheads and inventory management
• Managing minor resets and cross merchandising as necessary and ensuring planogram adherence
• Partnering with the Operations Assistant Manager in developing and delivering a game plan to prioritize duties of associates
• Unloading and inspecting quantity and quality of merchandise; packdown as needed
• Ensuring the receipt of all products into the store and properly entering the information into the store system
• Ensuring department staffing levels meet business needs
• Managing associate performance through development, communication, rewards and recognition, and providing ongoing feedback
• Ensuring that all Safety and Asset Protection standards and protocols are clearly communicated and followed
