Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park invites applications for a Night Cleaner. You will help ensure safe, efficient operations as part of our overnight team, delivering consistently clean kitchens and a high standard of hygiene.

Shifts run overnight from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am with a pay rate of $20.96/hour. This permanent role includes subsidized on-site accommodations, meals, and a competitive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Able to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs (14 kg)
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional climbing stairs, ladders or ramps

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, engaging service
• Work overnight shifts 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
• Deep clean kitchen areas after hours for hygiene
• Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, ovens, stovetops, walls and tiles
• Report repairs or areas of concern
• Ensure proper PPE use and safe chemical handling/storage
• Support safety initiatives and maintain a clean, safe workplace

Job Description

Every memorable dining experience at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise begins with our overnight team’s commitment to safe and efficient operations. As a Night Cleaner, you will play an important role in support of your colleagues and the preparation of exceptional cuisine.

Position Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $20.96/hour
Start Date: September2026

Job Duties Include:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Work overnight shifts from approximately 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
• Deep clean all kitchen areas after hours to ensure the highest level of hygiene and sanitation is met
• Clean and sanitizeall kitchen floors, ovens, stovetops, walls and ceiling tiles
• Reportnecessary repairs or areas of concern
• Ensure proper use of PPE while using chemicals and all chemicals are properly stored and organized
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
