Job summary

Hopewell Support Services is seeking a compassionate Support Services Worker for a Temporary Part Time (6 months) position in Guelph, ON. You will join a clinical multidisciplinary team delivering person-centered support across various settings, assisting with daily living, communication, and behavior support under ABA principles.

The role requires flexible hours, direct support with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Valid class G driver’s license is required.
• University or college degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by the program.
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently and participate in meaningful activities.
• Follow care/service plans and document changes and observations.
• Provide personal care and daily living support per established plans.
• Coordinate transportation and assist with household tasks and routines.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and comfort of individuals and report changes to the team.
