Job summary

Inabia-Software- in Oakville is seeking an OverIT FSM Techno-Functional Consultant to lead the configuration, implementation and ongoing support of the OverIT Next-Gen FSM platform for utilities and energy sector clients.

This role bridges business requirements with technical execution, translating field-operations needs into scalable, configured solutions on the OverIT platform, while collaborating with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years FSM implementation/consulting experience.
• OverIT platform experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of work order management and scheduling.
• Experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
• GIS integration and ArcGIS familiarity a plus.
• Offline-first mobile design understanding.
• Strong analytical and requirement gathering skills.
• SQL and scripting for configuration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent client-facing communication; workshop facilitation.
• Utilities, telecom, transportation, or oil & gas sector exposure a plus.

Role Overview

We are looking for an OverIT FSM Techno-Functional Consultant to lead the configuration, implementation, and support of the OverIT Next-Gen Field Service Management (FSM) platform for clients in utilities, , energy, , and oil & gas industries. This role bridges business requirements and technical execution — translating customer field-operations needs into scalable, configured solutions on the OverIT platform.

Must-Have Skills

• 3–7+ years of experience in Field Service Management (FSM) implementation or consulting; hands‑on OverIT platform experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of FSM domain concepts: work order management, scheduling/dispatch optimization, mobile workforce management, and linear asset industries (utilities, telecom, energy).
• Experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware) connecting FSM to CRM/ERP/GIS/IoT systems.
• Working knowledge of GIS concepts and tools (ESRI/ArcGIS integration is a plus).
• Familiarity with mobile app configuration and offline‑first application design.
• Strong analytical and requirement‑gathering skills; ability to translate business needs into system configuration.
• SQL and basic scripting/data‑handling skills for configuration, migration, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills; ability to run workshops and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Prior experience in utilities, telecom, transportation, or oil & gas sectors is a plus.
