Job summary

Konecranes is hiring a Technician in Saskatoon, SK. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites, with after-hours on-call rotation.

You will document findings, issue safety notifications, and prepare quotations as needed. You must have a Journeyman Electrician (or related) qualification and 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or equivalent qualification/experience as per the ad.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance or service experience, preferably with cranes/hoists.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel/out of town as required.
• Willing and able to work at heights and climb ladders/walkways; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied locations.
• Be available on call as part of service office rotation and provide after-hours service as required.
• Document findings, provide safety notifications, and advise on repairs or safety concerns.
• Complete and submit electronic work packages and customer signatures using company tools.
• Maintain safety compliance with CSA, OSHA, CMAA and other relevant codes.
