Job summary

Konecranes in Kamloops, BC is seeking an Overhead Crane Technician / Industrial Electrician. You will perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on electric overhead cranes and hoists at varied customer locations and be available for on-call service.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent, up to travel and heights, with strong safety awareness and computer/communication skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent in electrical/mechanical field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Work on-site and be available for after-hours service as required.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting tasks following safety guidelines.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports after service visits.

Education

Trade qualification / Associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology
