Job summary

Kristian Electric is seeking a Journeyperson Millwright to join the Saskatoon branch as an Overhead Crane Service Technician. You will service, troubleshoot, and install overhead cranes and hoists, while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Candidates must have 4+ years of crane experience and a valid driver’s license, with flexibility for out-of-town work in Saskatchewan.

Qualifications

• Must have 4 years or 8,000 hours overhead crane service/inspection experience.
• Journeyman Millwright credential required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of overhead cranes and equipment.
• Assist in installation of overhead cranes and equipment.
• Conduct full inspections of crane systems, hoists and related equipment at client facilities.
• Troubleshoot equipment to diagnose deficiencies and determine repairs.
• Repair or replace defective parts and perform routine maintenance.
