Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Technician / Industrial Electrician for Fort McMurray, AB. You will inspect, maintain and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied customer locations, and be available for on-call duties as required.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent, with 5+ years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of CSA/OSHA/ANSI standards, and ability to travel. FIFO 7x7, company truck/phone and comprehensive benefits await.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance or service experience.
• Knowledge of CSA standards related to overhead lifting equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied customer locations.
• Be available on-call as part of service office rotation and provide after-hours service as required.
• Document findings and provide safety recommendations to customers.
• Read, understand and apply CSA/OSHA/ANSI/etc. codes and regulations pertaining to the industry.
