Robbie and Dawn Kaschl purchased the company and the local Culligan, making it a second-generation water company. Recently Shawn and Lindsey Kaschl became part of the family business. The Water Testing/Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Culligan household water treatment equipment within our PAR area, primarily in the Battlefords. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Management: Build strong relationships and customer accounts; perform follow-up calls 24 hours after appointments and 7 days after installs; ensure team members return to customers within 4 weeks for follow-up.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team KPIs; implement improvements as needed.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing and service teams to optimize the customer experience.
- Sales Reporting & Admin: Use Salesforce; track leads and maintain accurate records.
- Fleet & Maintenance (if applicable): Ensure fleet repairs and demo kit maintenance.
Qualifications
- Strong prospecting, networking, communication, and presentation skills;
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to cold call potential clients by phone or in person;
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record (10-year abstract annually required);
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, twist, kneel, and sit for long periods;
- Current RCMP criminal record check (required annually);
- Experience as a Sales Representative is desired;
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is desired;
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) are desired.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff and clients;
- Be self-motivated and driven to succeed;
- Grow the existing customer base and maintain relationships with current customers and rentals;
- Generate prospecting ideas and implement them (a book of prospecting ideas is available);
- Prospect to find clients; canvass customers to generate appointments;
- Produce a minimum of 20 self-generated leads monthly;
- Perform in-home demonstrations and maintain the sales demo kit;
- Perform water analysis and system design solutions (with ongoing training);
- Partner with customers to determine the best water solutions for their needs;
- Increase sales of residential water treatment systems;
- Arrange payments from customers;
- Update Salesforce after each appointment;
- Follow up with calls, text, and email on incoming leads within 24 hours;
- Maintain own appointment schedule;
- Be positive and receptive to ongoing training and development;
- Follow up with sold customers within 2-4 weeks after sale;
- Manage inquiries via phone, text, and email; ensure vehicle is in good condition and maintained.

Compensation
Salary: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year with commissions. Guaranteed base wage for 2 months. Top performers may achieve $50k-$100k in commissions per month. Top performers in Culligan Canada can earn up to $1,800,000. Wage is base plus commissions above the base wage.
