Job summary

Shine Windows & Gutters and The Deck People in the Greater Toronto Area are seeking an experienced salesperson to grow with us. You’ll start with lower-ticket close work on warm leads, then move into in-home sales of exterior projects.

You’ll earn a base of $40,000 with uncapped commissions; first-year earnings typically $80,000 to $120,000. Expect coaching, a growth path, and a supportive team while you travel across the GTA and work from home when not visiting clients.

You've been in sales for a few years now, and you've proven you can sell. You know your numbers, you've had strong months, and you've built the confidence that comes from delivering results.

But you've started to feel like you've outgrown your current role.

At Shine Windows & Gutters and The Deck People, we've grown to over 50 employees serving thousands of Toronto homeowners every year. Now we're looking for an experienced salesperson to grow with us.

What you'll be doing

• Spend your first 4 to 6 weeks working as a lower-ticket closer, calling warm leads and existing customers to learn our services, systems, and sales process before moving into in-home sales.
• Visit homeowners across the GTA, understand their needs, present solutions, and close high-ticket exterior projects.
• Sell exterior painting, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and other services over the phone.
• Follow up with prospects, handle objections, and turn undecided customers into booked work.
• Our sales team averages a 75% close rate, and once fully trained, you'll be expected to close at least 30 sales per month. You'll track your close rate, average sale, and revenue against clear weekly targets.
• Keep your CRM updated and coordinate with production teams to make sure the work you sell is delivered properly.

Who we're looking for

You’ll be a strong fit if you:

• Have at least 2 years of sales experience and a track record of performing near the top of your team, with numbers to back it up.
• Know your numbers, including your sales targets, close rate, average deal size, and revenue.
• Are highly competitive, motivated by financial success, and enjoy working toward ambitious targets.
• Take responsibility for your results rather than blaming the leads, the market, or your circumstances.
• Can manage your own schedule, follow up consistently, and stay productive without someone watching over you.
• Are confident in your ability to sell, but humble enough to have your calls and appointments reviewed, accept direct feedback, and change your approach when there's a better way.

Experience with in-home sales, home improvement, or high-ticket consumer sales is an asset, but not required.

You’ll need a valid driver’s licence, your own vehicle, a laptop, and a smartphone with data.

Schedule

• Full-time, typically 40-50 hours per week
• In-home appointments across the Greater Toronto Area
• Weekend availability required for customer appointments
• Work from home when you’re not meeting clients

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary: $40,000 plus uncapped commission
• Year 1 expected earnings: $80,000 to $120,000
