The Gear Centre Group is seeking a motivated Junior Outside Sales Representative in Mississauga to develop new business, nurture relationships, and present tailored solutions to customers in the GTA. You will manage CRM updates, travel within the territory, and participate in trade shows and industry events.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of sales experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work self-directed in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to travel within the GTA region and occasional overnights.
• Self-directed, reliable and goal-oriented.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

The Gear Centre has been an industry leader in the On/Off Highway Powertrain market since 1975. With locations across Canada, we continue to expand our network and customer base.

We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our growing team of Outside Sales Representatives in Mississauga. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing tailored solutions that support sales growth in the GTA area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for new medium-sized truck fleet business within your assigned territory.
• Call on existing customers to nurture and grow sales leveraging multiple company offerings.
• Actively participate in updating and maintaining CRM database.
• Travel within your assigned territory; some overnight stays may be required.

Your Gear Centre Career - What you bring

• 5+ years of Sales experience with success in hitting targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of Trucking Industry along with Off-Highway Equipment knowledge.
• Service minded outgoing personality
• Post-secondary education in business, commerce, marketing or a related field.. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows.
• Clean Driver's abstract.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Nice-to-have...

• Bilingualism and/or other languages.
• 310T Technician Licence
