Job summary

Fountain Tire Calgary Moraine is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to help grow our commercial tire business and support our customers. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and present product pricing and timely deliveries.

In this role, you’ll participate in local trade shows and fleet surveys, maintain accurate records in our systems, and collaborate with a supportive team to achieve sales targets. Regular day shifts with great team and customer-focused culture await.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive sales and tire industry is an asset.
• Effective listening skills to identify customer needs.
• Knowledge of passenger, light truck and specialty tires.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to provide a satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must.
• A team player who takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Research, initiate, and implement sales strategies to grow the commercial tire business.
• Complete necessary follow up with customers and update requirements, purchases and buying levels.
• Support customers by providing product pricing, recommending products, and arranging timely deliveries.
• Ensure products are billed accurately and process information in the computer system.
• Participate in local trade shows, fleet surveys, industry associations and training.
• Prepare input into forecasts for tires for store.
• Participate in safety initiatives to guarantee safety for Fountain Tire personnel and customers.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhere to standards and policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Research, initiate, and implement sales strategies to grow the commercial tire business.
• Complete necessary follow up with customers, and continually update customer requirements, purchases and buying levels.
• Support customers by providing product pricing, recommending products, and arranging timely deliveries to meet their needs.
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Participate in local trade shows, fleet surveys, industry associations and customer training.
• Prepare input into Fountain Tire forecasts for light truck, medium truck and OTR tires for store.
• Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts.
