JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Development Specialist is the image, face, and voice of NAPA. You will be responsible for building and maintaining quality business relationships with existing and new customers by implementing sales development initiatives at the national, regional, and district levels, and promoting NAPA auto parts and programs. The ADS helps keep NAPA informed of customer behavior, market trends, and competitive threats. You will participate in developing and refining sales strategies at the district level.

This is a full-time position based in Cambridge, ON.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Calling on installers to sell NAPA auto parts and programs, collaborating with regional and corporate sales teams.
  • Implementing sales development plans aligned with district and regional strategies, marketing programs, and promotions.
  • Working with District Sales Managers and Store Managers to develop plans for growing business with existing customers.
  • Gathering market intelligence and reporting on service or product issues.
  • Making pricing recommendations, assisting in collections, and ensuring accounts comply with buying conditions.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude and a passion for excellence
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, internet, and CRM software
