Job summary

Lumen Division of Sonepar Canada Inc. seeks a proactive Sales Representative to expand the customer base in the Dartmouth area within the electrical market.

You will solicit clients by phone and in person, schedule meetings, present bids, and drive follow-up efforts to meet sales targets. The role requires a DEP in electricity or related sales training, plus at least 3 years of sales experience and solid knowledge of electrical products.

Qualifications

• DEP in electricity and/or sales training.
• 3 years of experience in a sales position.
• Knowledge of electrical products.

Responsibilities

• Solicit clients by phone and in person.
• Contact companies to schedule meetings.
• Present bids to clients and follow up.
• Provide sales reports to managers.
• Build close ties with suppliers and manufacturers’ reps.
• Increase e-commerce sales.
• Develop and deliver a business plan with services and suppliers.
• Collaborate with the branch team and with Lumen’s services.
• Perform other related tasks.
