Job Description:
We’re looking for an Outside Parts Salesperson to join our fast-paced parts team. If you have a passion for customer relationships, sales expertise, and a background in heavy-duty truck or automotive parts, this is the perfect role for you. In this position, you will drive parts sales growth by building lasting relationships with clients, identifying solutions, and delivering exceptional service throughout your assigned territory.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in your territory
  • Promote and sell heavy-duty truck parts and accessories to fleet operators, repair shops, and owner-operators
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the right parts solutions
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay up to date on Peterbilt products, promotions, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve issues quickly
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions
  • Prospect new clients and identify business growth opportunities
  • Analyze territory performance to identify sales trends and gaps
  • Attend trade shows, customer events, and training sessions as required

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in parts sales, preferably in the heavy-duty truck or automotive industry
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract

Additional Strengths:

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse customer base
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with inventory management software
  • Experience with CDK (asset)
  • Knowledge of Peterbilt or heavy-duty truck parts (asset)
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and well-organized
