Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Account Manager to join our team in Burnaby, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and representing our organization in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for sales.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets
  • Conduct regular customer visits to provide support, training, and product knowledge
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfillment
  • Process orders, quotes, and job packages efficiently
  • Gather market intelligence and identify new business opportunities
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues promptly
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, margin goals, and key performance indicators
  • Represent the company at industry events to build brand awareness and strengthen customer relationships
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business,or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the wholesale distribution industry
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of plumbing is a must
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Additional Information

Salary Range - $55,000 - $60,000
