Job summary

The successful candidate will be skilled at organizing tasks, working both independently and as part of a team, and upholding safety policies, including PPE usage. Prior retail exposure is a plus, and lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of hardware/home centre/building supplies is beneficial.
• Ability to handle multiple demands while delivering good customer service.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional attitude toward customers.
• Assisting in loading and unloading freight as needed.
• Being aware of surroundings in the yard and ensuring safe material transfer.
• Operating and maintaining equipment and tools safely.
• Responsible for proper storage of materials.
• Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.
• Complying with Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and the Health and Safety program, including PPE.
