Job summary

Saplings Nature School in North Vancouver, BC is seeking a BC-certified teacher for a part-time Grade 2-3 cohort for the 2026/2027 school year. The role involves implementing the BC curriculum through outdoor, inquiry-based learning on Thursdays and Fridays 8:30am–3:30pm with planning time.

Qualifications

• BC teaching certificate is required.
• Current First Aid Certification.
• Clear Criminal Record Check is required.
• Experience with elementary-aged students.
• Outdoor education or multi-age classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the BC curriculum.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
