Arc’teryx Equipment in Canada is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver best-in-class guest experiences. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive brand presence, community initiatives, and store profitability while coaching talent and maintaining Arc’teryx standards.

You will oversee training, staffing, and operations with a focus on an exceptional guest journey and external engagement.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of leadership and retail management experience.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train, lead, motivate, retain and develop future leaders.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to achieve great results.
• Passion for service and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Proven budgeting and forecasting sales, gross margin, expense control and net profit.
• Ability to set a clear vision and align your team around goals.
• Balances autonomy and collaboration.
• Seeks best solutions with integrity and accountability.
• Passion for leading and outdoor living.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving ability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in alignment with Arc’teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values.
• Oversee floor leadership across the five pillars of the business.
• Train and coach a high performing team through the Arc’teryx Guest Journey.
• Lead by example and empower team through development plans.
• Identify and develop a store leadership talent pipeline.
• Oversee onboarding through offboarding and performance management.
• Deliver bold objectives in-store and in the community.
• Build brand presence and guest loyalty.
• Lead from the floor five days a week to empower the team.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to plan events that drive traffic and community involvement.
• Evaluate staffing needs quarterly with Store Manager for future readiness.
