Propak Systems Ltd. in Alberta, Canada, seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to lead design and execution of oil and gas processing equipment, including Once Through Steam Generators.

You will manage multi-discipline teams, coordinate procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning, and ensure compliance with contract specifications and schedules. Responsibilities include bid evaluations, RFQ packages, BOM entry, P&ID reviews, HAZOPs, change management, and field support during

Qualificações

• Travel 10–15% of the time as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering from an accredited university.
• Registered, or eligible for registration, with APEGA.
• 5+ years of related design experience in oil and gas processing or heavy oil facilities in Canada.
• Knowledge of ASME Section I, B31.1, B31.3, CSA B149.3.

Responsabilidades

• Work independently and with teams to manage projects for once-through steam generators.
• Provide technical direction and coordination across engineering, drafting, procurement, fabrication, and construction.
• Coordinate project interfaces with stakeholders and ensure contract and schedule compliance.
• Lead bid/evaluate/award processes including RFQ packages and BOM entry.
• Review P&IDs, conduct HAZOPs, and prepare instrumentation and equipment sizing data.
• Develop automation documents and assist with RFIs and NCRs.
• Support field commissioning and resolve shop/field issues.
• Prepare project status reports and maintain project data and manuals.
