Job summary

Fraser Health Authority in Surrey, BC is seeking a Relief Full Time Clinical Supervisor, Occupational Therapy to lead the Rehabilitation team at Carelife Fleetwood. The role supports day-to-day supervision of occupational therapy services, staff workload management, and adherence to practice standards, reporting to the Clinical Practice Leader.

The position requires CHCP-BC registration with at least three years of OT experience, including supervisory exposure, and involves budget input, quality

Qualifications

• Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
• Three (3) years recent and relevant occupational therapy experience including one (1) year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day occupational therapy activities for the section and ensures staffing levels meet workload demands.
• Plans, provides and coordinates staff training and orientation; conducts performance appraisals and supports recruitment decisions.
• Acts as a clinical resource and collaborates on policy manuals, procedures and standards for occupational therapy.
• Monitors budgets, supports budget planning, and contributes to service goals and quality/safety initiatives.
• Assists in program development, maintains inventory and participates in interprofessional initiatives.
