Orthotics Prosthetics Canada in Penticton, BC is hiring an orthotics technician. The lab offers bright, open spaces and a collaborative team focused on orthotics fabrication with some prosthetics work as needed.
We welcome a registered technician, a non-registered technician, or a student newly graduated from the George Brown O&P program. Workdays run 9am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 9-4pm Fridays, totaling 4-5 days per week, with wage dependent on experience and status.
We are an Orthotic & Prosthetic facility in Penticton BC looking to hire for an orthotics technician, we are open to a registered technician, a non-registered technician, and/or a student newly out of the George Brown O&P technical program.
This position can be 4-5 days/week, based on candidate preference. Wage will be dependent on years of experience/registered status.
Applicants will have the ability to work comfortably alone, and in a group setting. We are in a new 3500sqft facility, bright open lab spaces with plenty of windows. We are a 2 clinician practice, with two technicians, one who is soon to retire. We primarily need more help with orthotics technical work, but we do prosthetics work here too.
We are located in the South Okanagan in beautiful Penticton, BC, population 40,000, city is bordered by two large swimmable lakes, and an abundance of mountains and ski hills.
Days of work are somewhat flexible, but generally we work 9am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, and 9-4pm Fridays. Weekdays only. Closed all statutory holidays.
Orthotics technician wage range $27-$33/hour (based on years of experience and/or if registered)
A registered technician OR
A non-registered technician OR
A student newly out of the George Brown O&P technical program.
Hours 9am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, and 9-4pm Fridays, 4-5 days/week based on candidate preference
