Job summary

The Interior Health Authority is hiring a relief part-time Physiotherapist at the Penticton Health Centre. The role supports a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, with duties including assessment, treatment planning, and client education to promote functional independence.

About The Role

The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
