Job summary

Taymax Group in Orleans, ON is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist in overseeing club operations and deliver a Judgement Free member experience. You will work with the Club Manager to build a positive team atmosphere and a financially successful club.

Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training staff; ensuring excellent member service; scheduling; payroll; and coordinating with maintenance and marketing to support club goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• One to two years of experience in a customer service environment.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong customer service and problem resolution skills.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
• Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager.
• Schedule and supervise staff to ensure shifts are covered.
• Ensure staff provide a superior customer experience at all times.
• Assist in payroll processing and relevant paperwork.
