Job summary

ICBC’s Organizational Design Specialist will partner with the business and HR to conduct operating model and organizational design initiatives to support organizational transformation and the future vision. Reporting to the Manager, Compensation & Org Design, the Specialist will play a key role in standing up ICBC’s Organization Design Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Organizational design certification or professional designation (CPHR or similar) is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing operating model and organizational design.
• Experience implementing with large-scale transformations and/or change management.
• Experience working within the insurance industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operating model and organizational design analyses with stakeholders.
• Develop operating models, capability frameworks, and service delivery models.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop high-level organizational structures and workflows.
• Develop role level structures and designing jobs, including job descriptions.
• Collaborate with the Compensation team to align design work to the compensation framework.
• Develop standard tools and processes for organization design at ICBC.
• Apply intake and prioritization of service requests from the business.
• Define and maintain long-term project metrics to measure design success.
• Support planning for design implementation with Change Management and HR partners.
• Leverage data to tell a story and gain buy-in for design recommendations.
